Prayer of Approach
All: Lord Jesus, push us out beyond the safe confines of our cozy congregation. Prod us out from the cozy comfort of people just like us. Restore to us the great adventure of the good news that leaps like wildfire over all boundaries, that conquers new worlds, and makes family out of strangers. Give us the courage to follow your leading wherever it takes us, even among people we don’t want to meet and places that we don’t want to go. Amen
All: (sung) In God we live and move and have our story.
In love God lives in us and makes us whole
O Jesus may we hear the Word that calls us near;
Your story makes a home within our soul.
Your story makes a home within our soul
One: Here the good news is :
Acts 11:1-18
John 13:31-35
One: The Word of God for the People of God
All Thanks be to God
At one of our “I Wonder” evening we looked at Divine Numbers and how nature creates following numerical patterns. For example the Fibonacci sequence Hexagonal structure of snowflakes. They all might be different but they are all Hexagons. Apatite and Vanadinite also have what is known as a hexagonal structure which contains four crystallographic axes consisting of three equal horizontal, or equilateral axes at 120 degrees to each other, as well as one vertical axis which is perpendicular to the other three. This vertical axis can be longer or shorter than the horizontal axes. Great, not sure what that all really looks like what I can say that in the wonder of creation these have formed in such a way that it is a structure that is well balanced. The coming together of all things moving in almost a harmony. The universe likes balance and because of that it will move in a balanced way. This has leads to the theory of Synchronicity

Synchronicity is a concept, first explained by psychiatrist Carl Jung, which holds that events are "meaningful coincidences" if they occur with no causal relationship, yet seem to be meaningfully related. According to Jung, phases after the death of a loved one or job changes can create greater energy for coincidences. This is all due to the fact that these situations cause changes within us that impel us to seek recognizable patterns that give meaning to our search. Therefore, that feeling of recognition that we all seem to have is the basis for synchronicity.
This could explain cloud gazing and seeing images in the clouds which of course some of us have seen clouds from both sides now.
It is a little like following the bread crumbs taking random events and seeing a pattern in them. Thinking about someone you haven’t seen in years: Maybe you suddenly start thinking about an old friend, and then, out of the blue, they call or send you a message. It is also an example of synchronicity. It might indicate that reconnecting with your old friend is important for your growth and development.
Finding Order finding balance.
From this concept comes the Science of synchronicity
"The science of synchronicity can be defined as the knowledge and study of how energy-matter (EM) comes together, reacts, interacts, develops and evolves (events) and moves about (events) to create increasingly complex systems of organization (multiple simultaneous events) and the resultant coherent interaction among the various systems.

Our moon turns exactly on its own axis at the same rate as it orbits the earth. The consequence is that we always see only one side of the moon. This is an example of a gravitational/centrifugal coupling between two bodies.
John is not always my favorite Gospel. However this passage is feel is key. The New commandment. This fulfils all the law, it becomes that which you hang all the law. The first thing we have to do is strip away emotional attached to love. The passage calls us to live in Respect with God ourselves each other and world in which we live
I know that we should view all the gospels in equal light and the “golden rule” passage is also in the other three gospel but what is most important is in John we see Jesus as the standard. Love your neighbor as yourself is fine, but if you do not love yourself you cannot love your neighbor. Love another as I have loved you. Then we have the standard to work towards.
The passage calls us together to be for each other.
Back to Synchronicity
Consider Starlings (which for the most part people don’t like) Besides be the winners for persistence in building nests they also move in a phenomena known as a murmuration. The birds fly in these large groupings making wild patterns, dazzling banks and turns which look like they are planned. You would imagine that there would be the many mid air mishaps in murmuration mayhem. But there is none, each bird watches six or seven other birds around it.
When we are living the great commandment we are watching those around us to see how we can move with harmony in the world. Watching and making a small differences.
We are the body of Christ called together in this place. We are called to seek out the balances in our lives. To see that at times we move will move in synchronicity with the world around us. Reaching out to those who we are called to reach out. To watch for those patterns that connect us.
It reminds us that we are called to be one with God one with ourselves One with each other That we are to love God with all our heart soul and mind, that we are to love ourselves and in so doing we are able to love others.
Through out all the changes, chances, of life it reminds us that We are not alone thanks be to God
Prayers of the people
Hear our prayer we humbly offer
Grant to us your peace O God
Hear our prayer we humbly offer
Grant to us your peace O God.
Blessed God one of the greatest gifts you have given us is the deep knowing that we are not alone. That we are a part of your world, part of your creation. We hear your call to move in harmony with you and those whom we encounter in our lives. We hear your call to move in harmony with your world. Help us to move in harmony also with ourselves. God give us the patience to take our time, to know life lessons are not learned in a day, may we know that we are growing, to realize our own special gifts. That you move with us on this journey. Your light touches our souls, and your song sings around us each day. Even when the dark comes crashing through When we need a friend to carry us, when we are broken on the ground you come to us and lift us up and whisper those words we need to hear, you are not alone. We offer you this prayer, and prayers for your world. We offer you prayers for those who we hold near. We offer you prayers for ourselves. We offer you the great prayer which you gave us as we say, Our Father…
